Sale Sharks begin each season knowing their home ground is one of the busiest sporting venues in Greater Manchester. In 2025 the stadium in Salford, long known as the Salford Community Stadium, took on a new name and enjoyed a summer in the global spotlight.

In September 2025 the club announced a multi-year naming partnership with CorpAcq, and the ground became the CorpAcq Stadium from the start of the 2025-26 Gallagher Premiership season. The new branding appears across the venue, including on the West Stand and the North Stand roof visible to drivers on the M60.

Before the renaming, the stadium had an international role to play. It was chosen as one of eight venues to host the 2025 Women's Rugby World Cup, welcoming matches in August and bringing supporters from around the world to Salford.

The city marked the occasion in style, with a huge mural in Salford Quays celebrating the tournament. It featured Sale Sharks player Morwenna Talling, a proud moment for the club and for women's rugby in the North West.

On the pitch, the ground has been a difficult place for visitors. Ahead of an April 2025 meeting with Saracens, Sale's only Premiership home defeat at the stadium since January 2024 had come against Bath, a record that says a lot about the atmosphere the Sharks have built.

The stadium's ownership has also been changing. Salford City Council, which already owned half of the venue, agreed to take full ownership, a step that keeps the ground firmly connected to the local community.

For supporters, the combination of a settled home, a strong home record and a venue now associated with a World Cup gives plenty to look forward to as the club continues to compete in the Premiership.

Fixtures and tickets for Sale Sharks matches are available through the club's official website. The stadium is easy to reach from the M60, and on a busy matchday it makes a lively setting for an afternoon or evening of top-flight rugby.
